About Me
Married 19 years with one daughter, 16 years old. We live out in the boonies but wouldn't trade it for the peace and quiet we get at the end of a long day. Except my rooster starts crowing at 5am! But he keeps the chickens in line. :-) Husband Mike is civil service and I work as a personal trainer. Daughter Courtney is a junior in high school. Life is good but its been rough going this past year, as it has been for most of you out there. 2010 holds alot of promise and hope for us all.
Items I Have to GIFT or SWAP (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
I have dial up out here where I live so for the time being don't expect to find pics of items I have to swap.
Miscellaneous craft supplies such as foam cutouts in different shapes, sizes and colors. Some seasonal. Letters too. I have feathers, fur, beads, buttons, raffia, and shells to name just a few items
8 Flat Hibiscus Flower CANDLES for cake, unopened pkg
10 small DOLL HEADS on picks
3 3" high decorative BIRDHOUSES (with hangers) from Pier !, Winter Country Style
Gently used WINDOW STAR KIT by Chinaberry
TWIRLED PAPER KIT by Klutz, unopened
1 St. Nicholas Square PHOTO HOLDERS (6" high angels)
Books:
A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle
Women & Money by Suze Orman
Master your Metabolism by Jillian Michales
Flames Of Passion (sensuous poetry for lovers) by Jeanne Marie Martin
Minute Meditations for Busy Moms by Emile Barnes
Fundamentals of our Faith by Herschel H. Hobs
The Innocents Abroad by Mark Twain
The Sea Wolf by Jack London
VHS TAPES:
Chocolate
Armageddon
Total Recal
Devils Advocate
Air Force One
Homeward Bound
Beauty and the Beast
Beautiful Hand Made from Recycled Paper, and natural leaves PHOTO ALBUM
Rest of my list is in progress...I don't hang onto a lot of things once I realize I no longer need it or will no longer use it. Most things I donate to charity.
Items I'm Looking For (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
I really don't need anything but what would be nice?
Flavored coffees and coffee mugs (I collect them then re-use for plants when I've cycled thru them a few times)
Note cards ( i love to send notes to friends just because)
Church cookbooks
Any cookbook..love to cook and love trying new recipes!
Romance/drama novels...easy reads and I get the romance i don't at home
Husband is a Vikings fan and ladies, you know how that goes!
Books/Magazines about fitness
Love butterflies
Love wind chimes
Anything in the mail that isn't a bill
What are some fun little 'extras' you love but rarely treat yourself to? (i.e., magazines, beauty products, etc.) Your swapmate may have 'em sitting around, going unused! (And how fun to find a little bonus in your package!)
My passions are cooking and fitness. Sometimes its a hard balance. Would love to share these passions with others.
I am a cat person and do collect cat things, though I have become more particular over the years.
Candles
Nail Polish

Hi Holly! Unfortunatley I have swaps pending for the fabric scraps and the shrinky dinks book. I just have to get them mailed out. But we can probably help each other out in the future!

hi mama-I am starting to learn how to sew and if you had any scraps that you didn't send the other poster--I would love to trade for it. I also saw that you have a shrinky dink book--do you have shrinky dinks with that?

I like the idea of a ladies vikings shirt..all we have are ones for my husband. I'm a med-large depending on the style/fit. You know how that goes. Would love to trade it for the craft items and the patio cookbook intrigues me too. Maybe you can throw that in. I can't mail any swaps until the middle of the month though. I'll start a box for you.
