The first thing you'll want to do when you have time is browse the Groups and join any and all that interest you -- this is the best way to connect with other swappers, PLUS you'll get email alerts when anything new is posted. If you think of a good swap group idea and don’t see it anywhere, feel free to start one!
There are a few different Texas Mamas groups -- you should check them out and see if you can connect with local Swap Mamas (especially great for larger items!) ... you might also like the Swap Grandmamas group; the Baking Mamas group; and the Artsy Craftsy group for starters ...
And don't forget to finish filling out your profile -- this is how members get to know you, what you're looking for, and what you have to swap!
In the meantime, don't hesitate to let me (or any of the Ambassadors on the FAQ page) know if you have any questions about the site. If you want to help spread the word, it's as easy as clicking on the INVITE tab at the top of the page and telling all your friends -- the more the merrier!
