About Me
I am raising my granddaughter.
I am so glad there is a group like this wish I'd known about it before.
I keep WAY too many things and am trying to break the habit! Everything I save is in very good condition, but I need to let go of a lot. In today's economy, I'm hoping I can trade my good things for needed (and sometimes wanted) items.
Items I Have to GIFT or SWAP (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
I have a lot of things; just ask me, I probably have it! Tons of books as I love to read and have bought books by the basket full at sales and many of them I will never read either because of the subject or lack of time. I have several NWT items of clothing in ex small adult up to 2 and 3x; just ask I'll let you know what I have. I knit caps, scarves, mittens, blankets, potholders and other more "creative" things. I also cross stitch and can convert a picture into cross stitch and am learning to convert a snapshot into a canvas picture. I also do other "crafty" type things that I usually start when school starts back to have ready by Christmas (porcelain dolls, Christmas wreaths and ornaments; things like that). The dolls take a lot of time and can be custom designed ie: color of hair, skin, clothes; also style of clothing-dress, pants, etc.
Items I'm Looking For (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
My granddaughter basically lives in jeans and tennis shoes and is growing faster than I can keep up with; her sizes are girls 14R or boys 14S. I lost almost all of my seasonal things; Easter, Christmas, etc over the course of multiple moves, and would love anything along those lines.
What are some fun little 'extras' you love but rarely treat yourself to? (i.e., magazines, beauty products, etc.) Your swapmate may have 'em sitting around, going unused! (And how fun to find a little bonus in your package!)
I love flavored coffees and herbal teas (have posted some recipes in Recipe Swap); also old Southern Living magazines and any magazines that are craft related.
I have a collection of fun, unusual coffee mugs, teapots, cookbooks and earrings that my kids gave me when they were really little and couldn't afford too much, I always like to add to the collection.
Other fun things I like are refrigerator magnets, notepads, . . . I am thankful and grateful for any "extras" they are so exciting to get.

Photos

These are just some of the things I pulled out to get posted, I have lots more. As I said I am related to a "shopaholic". As I get time, I'll post more.

Robbye,
Thanks so much for the cups! I was only expecting one but four is a dream come true! And of course the soap, deodorant, and hooks are much appreciated as well. Thanks again :0)

Hi Robbye,
You commented on some of my stuff some time back -blouse and 2 prints-little girl w/ puppy and the Indian Woman print. Told you I would get back to you when I weeded through some of my other swaps I had going. So wondering if you were still wanting any of those items. I do have someone else wanting the other Indian print. Looks like you may not be swapping right now. If you would like any of these still let me know. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow afternoon- I will let the one mamma have the Indian print. -But should still have the others for awhile.
Thanks-

Robbye,
Hope everyone is well. I know you've been busy taking care of your mom (and aunt) so your computer time is limited. But, next time you're on, could you send me a note to tell me when I could expect my package?

Hi Robbye,

I know you have been very busy, but if you send me your address I will get the Precious Moments doll ready to go for you. I would like the wine rack if you still have it. I'm in no hurry though what so ever!

Hey Robbye how's your mom and granddaughter doing? Hope everything has settled down. Did you all finish any scrapbook pages? I'd love to see them.

Wondering if you had sent my package out yet.
