- Hi, my name is Paige. I live in Arkansas, and I have a ten-year old daughter. I am a single mom, and I work full-time as a paralegal for a workers' compensation attorney. I like to read, play boardgames, sew, hike, and play video games. My daughter does gymnastics, is a fifth-year girl scout, is really into art, and wants to be an animal behaviorist when she grows up. (Specifically, she wants to study raccoons.)
- Items I Have to GIFT or SWAP (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
- I have lots of girl's clothing, mostly size 6-8. Tons of khaki pants, polos and jeans, lots of shorts and tee shirts, some dresses. Most casual clothes are from Children's Place, with the exception of the school clothes. (Those are mostly from JC Penney's or Target.) We have a lot of toys to pass on, I will work on getting photos up later this week.
- Items I'm Looking For (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
- Girl's 10-12, anything really. We aren't choosy! She does need khaki pants, skirts, shorts and capris for school, as well as navy or white polo or button-down shirts. Navy cardigans would also be great. We definitely need shorts and tees for summer! Shoe size is 3 or 3 1/2.
- What are some fun little 'extras' you love but rarely treat yourself to? (i.e., magazines, beauty products, etc.) Your swapmate may have 'em sitting around, going unused! (And how fun to find a little bonus in your package!)
- Books!! Books books books! Also any spare crafts supplies would rock. We are both learning to knit, I sew, we both paint and draw. We have a cat and a hamster, and they love surprises too.

The first thing you'll want to do when you have time is read the important info under the HELP CENTER tab.
Then, to connect with fellow swappers, follow these steps:
1. Join a local group – this is especially great for larger items and avoiding shipping costs.
2. Join any and all groups that interest you, and post discussions (NOT Comments) about the items you have to swap and/or the items you’re looking for. This is KEY.
3. Browse the PHOTOS link under the COMMUNITY tab at the top of the page. If you see an item you like, leave a comment that says you’re interested, and ask the owner to take a look at your page to see if you have something they might like to swap for.
For starters, you'll want to join clothes groups in the KIDS circle. And check out groups in the ENTERTAINMENT circle (books, games, etc!); and the CRAFTS circle too! (There's also a Single Mamas group in the SPECIAL INTEREST circle you might like ...)
4. Make sure to grab your Karma Badge. You’ll find it HERE.
And remember, Swap Mamas has a "No Money" policy -- it's all swapping or gifting! (Not to mention lots of good karma!)
