- I am a mom, wife, multi-faceted mompreneur, great friend and a full time student! I have a house full of stuff that I am trying to weed through and pare down in an attempt to simplify and organize. I also sew to some degree, make bling shirts and have a candle business. I am currently in school to get my nursing degree.
- Items I Have to GIFT or SWAP (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
- Girls clothing, handmade custom blankets, clothing, personalized pillows, gourmet all natural candles and bath products, scrapbooking and arts supplies, books, vhs movies, a bunch of Mary Kay items (I no longer sell), and I'm not sure what else I might come across.
- Items I'm Looking For (including size, gender, and pertinent details):
- girl's things for a 4 year old, cool things for an 8 year old boy, games (DS, Wii, Gamecube) movies, crafted items, music cd's, household decorating items, sewing supplies... fabrics, trims, etc., and who knows what else?
- What are some fun little 'extras' you love but rarely treat yourself to? (i.e., magazines, beauty products, etc.) Your swapmate may have 'em sitting around, going unused! (And how fun to find a little bonus in your package!)
- Beauty products, decorated clothing, nice little things that I don't offer to myself - I'm too busy to put myself on the RAK list, lol

- Hey Lisa -- just saw your status update -- when someone leaves a comment on one of your photos saying they're interested, all you have to do is click on their pic, go to their page, and look to see what they have to swap. If they don't have anything you need, just nicely tell them you didn't see anything on their page that you need. If you see something you like on their list, suggest swapping! Hope this helps a little ... :)

- Welcome to Swap Mamas Lisa!
The first thing you'll want to do when you have time is read the important info under the HELP CENTER tab.
Then, to connect with fellow swappers, follow these steps:
1. Join a local group – this is especially great for larger items and avoiding shipping costs.
2. Join any and all groups that interest you, and post discussions (NOT Comments) about the items you have to swap and/or the items you’re looking for. This is KEY.
For starters, you’ll want to join the Handmade Mamas group (fantastic for bartering your crafty skills!), and a ton of other groups in the CRAFTS circle; plus groups in the KIDS circle; the ENTERTAINMENT circle; and check out the Direct Sales Swap group in the COMMUNITY circle to get rid of your Mary Kay stuff!
3. Browse the PHOTOS link under the COMMUNITY tab at the top of the page. If you see an item you like, leave a comment that says you’re interested, and ask the owner to take a look at your page to see if you have something they might like to swap for.
And remember, Swap Mamas has a "No Money" policy -- it's all swapping or gifting! (Not to mention lots of good karma!)
If you want to help spread the word, it's as easy as clicking on the INVITE tab at the top of the page and telling all your friends (we depend on word of mouth to keep the site going!) -- the more Mamas, the more stuff available for swap! You can also help tell the world about Swap Mamas by putting a badge on your site -- you'll find a link on the home page in the left sidebar. And don't forget to head over to our Facebook page and become a fan …
